How we came together

K&C have a longstanding professional working relationship and have worked together for a number of years.  Having established a good working relationship a decision was made to come together and focus on Merton compliant age assessments as independent social workers, from there K&C Expert Assessments was formed.

Combined, K&C's approach to carrying out age assessments is trauma focused,  producing a holistic, high quality and balanced age assessment report, whilst remaining inline with Merton and case law compliant guidelines.

K&C Expert Assessments was established in 2023.  We have had the opportunity to collaborate with many locl authorities, solicitors and other organisations and this is something we continue to build on.

We have had an opportunity to be part of the National Supported Accommodation event in Birmingham 2024, where K&C delivered a workshops to attendees on the day.

A further event attended as exhibitors was The Social Work Show in Manchester in October 2025.
